By using ReadToMe ("the app"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

Description of Service

ReadToMe is a children's storybook reader app that uses your device's camera to scan book pages, recognize text, and read stories aloud using AI-generated speech. The app supports multiple languages.

Subscription

• Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial.
• Pricing: After the free trial, the subscription is $9.99 USD per month (price may vary by region).
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Usage Limit: Subscribers may read up to 100 pages per day.
• Managing Your Subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Account

You must create an account with a valid email address to use the app. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Accounts should be created by a parent or guardian on behalf of child users.

Acceptable Use

ReadToMe is intended for scanning and reading printed books aloud. You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the app's services
• Circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Use the app to process content that is not printed text from books or documents

Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, and mascot character, is the intellectual property of ReadToMe. The books you scan remain the property of their respective copyright holders. ReadToMe does not store or redistribute book content.

Disclaimer

ReadToMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that text recognition or speech generation will be error-free. The quality of results depends on camera conditions, print quality, and language.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadToMe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
